Experience Overview
With over 25 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, framing, and outdoor construction, our team understands what it takes to bring structure, beauty, and comfort together. At Deck Crafters, though a newly founded company, we have roots in the construction industry that go back over 2 decades. We started as a framing contracting business back in ’99, and by the early 2000’s, we had received awards for “best framing company of the year”. By 2012, we had our own independent company constructing houses from the ground up. That company, JR Home Builders, is continuously evolving even still today, a decade later!
As our business evolved, we realized something powerful: the backyard has become the heart of the home. Homeowners wanted more than walls and roofs; they wanted inviting outdoor spaces that brought people together. Inspired by that vision, we launched a company dedicated entirely to backyard entertainment and outdoor living. Today, we specialize in transforming backyards into beautiful, functional extensions of your home. Whether it’s a custom deck, pergola, or a complete outdoor retreat, our passion lies in creating spaces made for connection and comfort. We’re known for being honest, detail-oriented, and easy to work with, which we believe are qualities that are just as important as the final result. From your first consultation to the final walkthrough, we focus on clear communication, transparency, and a smooth, stress-free experience.
